Deep type filter elements are a multilayer cylindrical structure of polypropylene fibres, with varying porosity along the cross-section of the filtering layer.

Structure of the filter element

The structure of the filter element is formed on the basis of the analysis of the grain size distribution of solid particles in the filtered liquid and the technological parameters of the filtration process. Each structural element ensures that a certain parameter of the filter element corresponds to the specified requirements. This approach allows you to adapt the filter element to specific operating conditions and to ensure optimality of its characteristics.

Modern technological equipment with a high degree of automation allows you to quickly perform multiparametric optimization of the filter element structure. Combined with continuous monitoring of the parameters of the filter elements, it allows you to obtain high quality products for a wide range of applications.

 

The filtration principle is based on fractional separation of particles due to a gradual increase in the filtration fineness through the layers of the filter element, which ensures high productivity and cleaning efficiency, and a long service life of the filter elements.

Filter elements are widely used in food, chemical, electronic, printing, perfume and other industries.

Such a wide range of applications is due to the high chemical stability of polypropylene and its resistance to bacterial contamination.

We recommend filter elements for coarse filtration and fine cleaning of:
    • potable, industrial and circulated water;
    • alcoholic and soft drinks, juices, beer, syrups;
    • chemical reagents, acids, alkalis, organic substances, galvanic solutions, removal of solid catalysts, etc.;
    • liquid varnishes and paints;
    • vegetable and mineral oils;
    • air and gases under normal and high (up to 80 °C) temperature;
    • and also for the removal of opalescence and colloids in various liquids.
The distinctive features of our filter elements:
    • controlled change in the porosity of the deep filtering layer, which makes it possible to manufacture filter elements combining the final filter and the pre-filter;
    • multilayer porous structure providing increased mud capacity;
    • absence of fibre migration from the filtering layer;
    • high chemical stability to a wide range of chemical reagents;
    • low content of extractable substances, absence of binders, lubricants and surfactants in production;
    • wide operating temperature range (up to +80°С);
    • low cost;
    • no pre-hydrophilization is required when filtering aqueous solutions;
    • a wide range of filter elements with a particle retention efficiency from 0.5 μm to 100 μm; 
    • assortment of filter elements of various length to ensure the required efficiency of the filtration process

Sanitation and sterilization is carried out by any method according to OST 42-21-2-85 (except air treatment). The filter elements can be partially regenerated, for example by flushing with clean water with reverse flow. More complete regeneration is achieved by dissolving the sediment followed by washing. The efficiency of regeneration increases with increasing the temperature of the regenerating solution and its pressure.

De-ironing filter elements are designed for water purification from mechanical particles and its release from soluble iron compounds in various water treatment systems (filters, water purifiers, etc.)

The element is a cylindrical product made of a filtering polypropylene material filled with a de-ironing catalyst, applied to a perforated frame, with end attachments (adapters).


The purification process is carried out by filtration of mechanical particles and colloids with a graded porous structure formed by layers of polypropylene fibres, applying oxidation of soluble iron compounds in the outer layer of the element containing the catalyst and further retention of the formed insoluble particles by the element volume.

Coal filter elements

Coal filter elements are designed to improve the taste and smell of water, to remove chlorine, harmful organic compounds and pesticides.

 

The element is a cylindrical product made of a filtering polypropylene material with porous space filled with fine particles of activated carbon applied to a perforated frame with end attachments (adapters). The elements contain a pre-filter with a purification fineness of 10-20 microns and a finishing filter with a purification strength of 1 or 5 microns.

The main advantages of bactericidal filter elements:
    • use of fine particles of activated carbon (0.05-0.4 mm);
    • combination of filtration and sorption in one element;

    • mechanical retention of activated carbon particles by the fibres of the material (absence of a binder), which increases the life cycle and efficiency of the element.
